For me, photography has always been about emotion. Not the kind you pose for, the kind that pulls you in and makes you want to keep looking. I chase the moment where a subject stops performing and starts existing. That tension between control and surrender is where the best images live.

We live in a world saturated with images that are technically perfect and perfectly unobjectionable, and leave you feeling absolutely nothing. Sterile beauty. Algorithmically optimized. Indistinguishable from what a machine could generate. I am not interested in that direction. I believe the future of photography is radically human: skin that looks like skin, light that falls where it falls, and the kind of imperfection that makes you lean in instead of scroll past.

My work is rooted in cinematic light and documentary instinct, influenced by Peter Lindbergh and the tradition of honest, unhurried image-making. Every frame should leave you with a feeling, not just an impression. That human connection is what I am about.

I work with agencies, publications, and brands who share that sensibility. Recent projects include editorial work with Elite Model Management Japan in Tokyo and a multi-model editorial for Lucent Models Agency in Osaka. I have also worked with Elite Model Management in Miami and with Premiere Model Management, alongside ongoing collaborations with publications across the US and internationally.

I shoot on the Fujifilm GFX medium format system. Based in St. Louis and available internationally.

Alongside editorial and agency work, I accept a limited number of private portrait commissions each year. These are heirloom and milestone portraits made in the same tradition as the editorial work, unhurried, honest, and printed to last. More about that practice is here.
