From the campaign idea to the frame

A campaign needs a clear visual direction. A lookbook needs a considered sequence. A beauty brief needs agreement on skin, hair, detail and finish. Share the purpose of the images alongside the references, so the photography can be discussed in context.

Plan the assignment

Campaign & beauty

Include the creative references, product or hair focus, key images and intended crops. Specify advertising, web, social, print or retail use, with territory and duration.

Lookbook & editorial

Share the collection, number of looks, required views and final image count. For editorial, include the publication, story direction and submission or publication deadline.

Production & timing

Name your producer or main contact and outline the team and locations already planned. Include shoot dates, alternatives and delivery needs so responsibilities and scope can be agreed.

Plan a Tokyo or Osaka assignment

Include the city, brand or agency, creative direction, image use, budget range and proposed dates. If the brief is still developing, say which details are open.
